Apologies for late posts

Dear Friends, I am really sorry for the late posting of the posts and I feel that it might have somehow been a problem to all of you. Hence I promise you that I will be posting at least three topics revision notes on my blog every week. I wanted to do more but due to my own schedule I am unable to push it further. I have got high hopes from this blog and now being in college I can devote myself to this blog even more. Just to let you know, from now onwards this blog will mostly be a go to place for those students who are looking for some reliable resource from where they can get enough revision for there weekly tests or phase tests or any related tests of JEE/NEET. I was also a JEE aspirant but due to my lack of note making, I could not get into the IIT's. STATES OF MATTER We can classify matters into 3 types:- Solids  Liquids  Gas In this chapter, we will be discussing only Solids. SOLIDS In our daily life, we see many types of solid objects. Some of which can easily break and some of which are very hard. Some with a very shiny surface and some with no lustre at all. These are some of the physical features of a solid. Simple Harmonic Motion

SHM is a kind of periodic motion. We can say that all SHM's are periodic but all periodic motion are not SHM.  Conditions for SHM: The acceleration of the body or the particle should be proportional to the negative of displacement. The total Mechanical Energy of the system remains conserved. There must be a state of stable equilibrium. Equation of SHM Consider a particle revolving around a circular path of radius ''a''. with a constant angular velocity  ω. Let at time t=0, the particle is at the position A then the projection of the particle will be at the point B on the y-axis. So when the particle comes at the top the projection also comes at the top. Hence we can see that the particle is doing periodic motion but the projection is doing SHM. Hence the time period of the SHM is same as the time period of the circular particle. Mean Deviation=Sum of Deviations by Number of observations The Deviation here means the difference of the observations from any of the central tendencies. But mostly we take the Deviation from Mean or Median but not from Mode.
